Lead Political Organizer

Location: City of Atlanta, GA (hybrid)
Equity in Education (EiE) is an Atlanta-based 501c4 nonprofit advocacy organization dedicated to building a comprehensive vision of education and community in Atlanta that accounts for every stakeholder and ensures that every child in Atlanta has a champion for equity representing them on the school board.
The Lead Political Organizer will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing political campaigns, community outreach initiatives, and advocacy efforts within the City of Atlanta. This position requires a deep understanding of local political dynamics, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to mobilize diverse stakeholders toward common goals. The Lead Political Organizer will report directly to the Campaign Director and work closely with elected officials, community leaders, and organizational partners to advance strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in community organizing, with experience driving impactful, ground-level campaigns. We’re looking for someone who is not only passionate about civic engagement but also highly skilled in mobilizing volunteers, building community relationships, and executing voter outreach initiatives. Excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the local political landscape are essential. Experience working in public education and local politics is highly valued.
