Our Vision and Mission
We envision an Atlanta where every child has a champion for equity representing them on the school board. We look to a future where every member of the village consistently demands the equitable education that Atlanta’s children deserve.
Equity in Education (EiE) exists to ensure equity is the foundation for every stakeholder in Atlanta so that all young people have access to a high-quality education and the opportunity to live full lives. We empower communities, advance equitable policies and invest in bold leaders.

Our Mission in Action
Invest in Bold Leadership
Atlanta has strong and bold community leaders, they just need an investment. We recruit and train potential board of education candidates to run, staff and resource a campaign.
Advance Equitable Policies
We use data and community input to demand bold policies that help close the opportunity gap in Atlanta by prioritizing equity in all classrooms across the District.
Empower Community
Together, we identify the challenges, brainstorm solutions, pull our resources together and create change. We help the village be informed citizens and voters.
