Elena Bell
Elena Bell is a well-respected leader in education, who is acknowledged for her strong advocacy and strategic leadership in building collaborative school communities that enhance student academic and life achievement. Elena currently serves as a school improvement leadership coach and professional learning consultant. She began her work in education 20 years ago, serving in the District of Columbia.
Kellye A. Britton is CEO of Atlanta-based, small-business consulting firm, Limitless Consulting Services, and newly introduced strategic communications brand, Art of Words. Whether building businesses from concept to grand-opening, or working with the gifted scholars who will one day run them, Kellye is intent upon living a life of service, on purpose.
Ken is the founding executive director of Learn4Life, a nonprofit partnership of the metro Atlanta school system dedicated to finding and scaling what works to serve kids. Ken serves on several boards in metro Atlanta including Junior Achievement, the Atlanta-Fulton County Library Foundation, the Get Georgia Reading Cabinet and is an alumni of the Aspen-Pahara Fellowship and Leadership Atlanta.
Born and raised in one of the most poverty-stricken areas of Atlanta, Kiara’s life has always been about beating the odds. Although financially feasible, she always felt disconnected from the service she longed to give. Gratefully, she was able to join The Atlanta Thrive and began a journey to satisfy the passion of her heart again. Kiara’s goal is to use her skills and experience to improve the quality of life for future generations of children and families.
Tangee is an accomplished Executive Director recognized for leveraging strong team leadership and development to drive forward progress. Tangee is continually developing and implementing strong strategic partnerships resulting in a successful mission of engaging and positively impacting city of Atlanta communities.
Tony is an accomplished, results oriented, government affairs professional with demonstrated success in effective advocacy at the federal and state level. He has a resolve for creating and maintaining trusted professional relationships with legislators, staff, stakeholder groups, and patient advocates, with a tenacity for problem solving and client satisfaction.
Yvette Manns perspective on public education influences the work that she does. She has a deep belief in high-quality, affirming, positive education experience for all APS students. Her service on the school board will continue to equitably impact the community and Atlanta as a whole because of her sustained dedication to the education climate in Atlanta.
